Coffee also plays an important role in the overall appeal. Whether paired with breakfast in the morning or enjoyed as a quiet afternoon break, the drinks complement the casual café setting naturally. The combination of coffee, comforting meals, and approachable service creates the kind of dining experience people often look for when browsing restaurant reviews online.

Good service and reasonably priced. Selection of breakfasts, lighter bites, and mains. Lamb casserole was good, chili con carne is family friendly spiced, chicken burger and chips had no frills. Coffee was drinkable, but not a coffee place.
Fantastic home cooked food and service. One of the nicest lasagnes I've had.
Home cooked food that tastes great, and is presented well. The staff are friendly too. A great addition to Walton
Passed the Potatoe Shack many times, but, in Walton for the day, we finally went in on a freezing December Sunday, to the warmest of welcomes. And the most delicious home-cooked veggie Sunday lunch I've had for a long time. Everything was freshly cooked. My partner equally enjoyed his meat option lunch. (The coffee was also fresh, hot & strong).
Wow... what a surprisingly fantastic little spot in Walton. Very small, cafe style place but with great service and really good food. I had the big fried breakfast combo and it was amazing! The sausages were to die for and all ingredients were of really good quality. Definite recommend.
A very nice, welcoming and friendly place to eat. No frills, just great, honest food cooked to perfection. Very well priced too. Will definitely go back.
Probably the nicest roast dinner I've had out ever! Home cooked, loads of perfectly cooked veg, crispy roast potatoes and parsnips, a home made Yorkshire Pudding and gravy to die for! Thank you ever so much xx
Lovely food, very good prices. My kids loved the place and food ( there is a kids menu). Cosy and comfortable. Hash browns are probably the best I've had
